For the last 20 years Manolo has been the first call back up singer and Percussionist for great Artists like Jerry Rivera, Andy Montañez, Willie Colon, Rubén Blades, Luis Enrique, Isaac Delgado, Cachao, Aretha Franklin and many others. Mairena has been the lead singer for two of the most successful groups in the New England area; Mango Blue and La Clave Secreta earning him a nomination to the Latin Grammy in 2009.
