John Jorgenson Quintet at Arts Garage

Grammy award winner and music virtuoso John Jorgenson is known as the “US Ambassador of Gypsy Jazz”. With his blistering guitar licks and mastery of a broad musical palette, he has collaborated with stars like Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt and Bob Dylan.

The Quintet consists of Dutch bassist Simon Planting – well‐known for his tenure with legendary Belgian guitarist Fapy Lafertin; noted session pianist, keyboardist and songwriter John Jarvis, who has collaborated with musicians such as The Judds, Jimmy Buffet and Art Garfunkel; prodigious jazz violinist Jason Anick; and veteran percussionist Rick Reed, renowned for his intricate brush work and swinging drive.
