Cady dazzles his audience with his ability to go from the jazz stylings of Eddie Jefferson to lead singer in Teddy Harris Jr’s Bebop Society Jazz Orchestra. Just when you think you’ve heard it all, he pulls out songs from R&B greats. He makes each song his own. His venues have ranged from small clubs to concert halls to major jazz festivals. When Michael hits the stage, he exudes confidence. This was instilled in him by his mother, the late, great Susie Garrett, an actress/singer. His stage performances include “Great Legends and Great Music” a DeeDee McNeil production directed by Ron Milner. His most recent project was “A Tribute to Horace Silver” for which he received an overwhelming response from Metro Times.
