Cornetist Danny Tobias returns to Tri-State at the helm of his own quintet. A much sought-after musician identified by his lyrical phrasing and fat, relaxed tone, Tobias can frequently be heard performing with the Midiri Brothers, Jerry Rife's Rhythm Kings, Stan Rubin, Jon-Erik Kellso, Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, Ed Wise and his New Orleans Jazz Band, and other leading traditional jazz and swing groups.
