Cavalcade of Bands at Jazz Along The Brandywine Festival at Unionville High School

Experience the sounds of booming brass, toe-tapping percussion and sultry solos when 12 outstanding jazz bands gather to perform a variety of styles from soul to swing to samba on Saturday, February 25.

This year's Cavalcade of Bands festival competition will include more than 200 talented students. The evening will also include and exhibition performance by the Unionville High School Jazz Band and the C.F. Patton Middle School Jazz Band.

An awards ceremony will cap off the musical evening. The bands will be judged on the following elements: tone/blend/balance, interpretation, rhythm, precision, dynamics, intonation, and improvisation. The February 25th program will run from 6pm to 11pm. Tickets at tare $8 for adults; $6 for students and seniors. Concessions will be available for purchase.
