The 2025 New Summer Sounds Series at The Kennett Flash is designed to highlight new local artists and provide a professional venue to showcase their talent as they compete in a Battle of the Bands format show where our finalists will compete for a $400 prize, 4 hours of recording time, and a chance to headline their own performance at The Kennett Flash!
The series will feature three (3) semi-final rounds, and one final round where our three (3) finalists will compete for:

a $400 grand prize (sponsored by The Mattock School of Music) 
4 hours of recording time at The Mattock School of Music
a chance to headline your own performance at The Kennett Flash!

Winners are chosen by a panel of judges made up of artists, volunteers, board and staff.For the semi-final rounds, each artist will perform 3-4 songs.For the final round, each artist will perform for 30 minutes.

An online processing fee of $1.50 per ticket is automatically added to your order for online purchases. This online processing fee is waived when you purchase tickets at the door. You may also email info@kennettflash.org to schedule a phone call or a time to buy tickets in-person.
BYOB fees are $5 per person who is drinking. Even if you are sharing a 6-pack. Paid at the door only, cash or charge.
