Our Annual Jam Session Presented by Tri-State Jazz Society at Community Arts Center

Bob Rawlins will call song titles and invite other musicians to sit in as the session progresses. He led last year’s Tri-State Jazz Society jam session and played with the Atlantic City Jazz Band at the TSJS November 2013 concert. A professor of music theory at Rowan University, he is the author of several books on jazz including jazz theory text, Jazzology and The Real Dixieland Book, a collection of 250 classic Dixieland tunes he compiled and edited while living in New Orleans. $10 first timers and members — $20 general admission. Free for students with IDs and children with paying adult.
