The Cartoon Christmas Trio celebrates 20 years as the original interpreter of classic holiday cartoon jazz! The trio was started in 1995 by bassist Rob Swanson for the sole purpose of playing music from calssic Christmas cartoons, especially the music of Vince Guaraldi, the compose of the "Peanuts" soundtracks. Since its inception, the trio has played hundreds of shows including live appearances on NBC, ABC, and NPR. The group is comprised off Jeff Knoetternet on piano, Jimmy Coleman on drums, and Rob Swanson on double bass violin. For the performance at the Family Jazz Night, the trio will be joined by select members of the Pocopson Elementary School Chorus under the direction of Mr. Steve Jennings. This will bring the added voices to a few of the beautiful arrangements of the "Peanuts" classics from "A Charlie Brown Christmas." All trio members are full time musicians and educators that bring superb and innovative execution to timeless music, leaving the listener filled with nostalgia and a "Grinch-like" smirk. Doors open at 6:00pm for beverages and socializing. Concert will begin at 6:30pm. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door.
