A band consisting of veterans of the Milwaukee music scene, Choir Fight is inspired by music that is full of emotional content rather than technical facility; a typical Choir Fight set fuses melodically rich & improvisationally intense original compositions with carefully chosen instrumental interpretions of rock and pop standards from the likes of Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Nirvana, and The Beatles (to name a few)... seasoned with an undercurrent of late 60's/early 70's Miles Davis (think in a silent way -> bitches brew). Choir Fight performs regularly around the Milwaukee area at such venerable jazz venues as The Jazz Estate, The Sugar Maple, Mason Street Grill and Club Blu, as well as your no-so-typical jazz venues such as Bar Lulu, Shank Hall, and Club Garibaldi.
