Humorist and author, Loretta LaRoche, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the celebration. The musical guests include:
• Grace Kelly – a 22 year-old, award winning singer, songwriter, saxophonist and composer
• Giacomo Gates – Jazz vocalist and winner of 2012 DownBeat critic's poll: rising star male vocalist
• Pamela Hines – a prolific and consistent presence in American jazz as a pianist and composer and Host of WICN’s Live Jazz New England
• Yoko Miwa Trio – a critically acclaimed jazz trio on piano, acoustic bass and drums
• Dale LePage – a multi-award winning New England entertainer
• Michelle Willson – a gifted swing and jump blues vocalist and WICN host
• Jeff Colella – one of L.A.’s busiest jazz pianists, who is also an accompanist, recording artist, arranger, clinician and teacher
• Aztec Two-Step – a duo who has spent their lives making folk/rock music together
• Mark Mandeville and Raianne Richards – a duo who combines Americana, old country and harmony singing with well-crafted melodies and introspective lyrics
• Joan Watson-Jones – renowned throughout Northern New England, and a passionate jazz vocalist and advocate for the music
• Chet Williamson – a local Worcester musician, writer and jazz historian, who is also a WICN host
A 1.5 hour, pre-concert VIP cocktail reception kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and includes complimentary, high-end hors d’oeuvres and drinks and a meet and greet with all performers of the night. Tickets to the VIP event cost $120. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the Mix N’ Mingle cocktail hour with light hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and mix and mingling with WICN hosts, past and present! General admission tickets for the concert and Mix N’ Mingle are $65 dollars per person, or $32.50 for students with a valid school ID. Parking for the general public is located at the Dwight Foster Parking Lot at 27 Waldo Street, just a brief walk from the venue.
