About

In cooperation with the Consulate General of Mexico in San Antonio, my company is producing a concert for the celebration of the 50th anniversary if the Instituto Cultural de México in San Antonio and the Tricentennial of San Antonio SA300. The concert is a tribute to Mexico composer Manuel Esperón, best known for his music of the golden age of Mexico cinema.

I am working with renowned Mexico City based composer, arranger and pianist, Abraham Barrera. The orchestra is made up of a jazz quartet from Mexico City and a small chamber ensemble from San Antonio TX. The production includes clips of the original films. In addition, Abraham Barrera has very recently recorded the music for a CD, Un Homenaje a Manuel Esperón. The CD will be announced and released during the San Antonio concert! And of course, will be on sale at the event. This wonderful event will surely prove to be a binational cultural experience that will be not be forgotten. Please visit https://youtu.be/heahRwjnejE...
