We call it the Vanguard on Dodds Avenue when the Alan Wyatt Quartet is up every first Wednesday. That’s because this quartet, featuring Alan’s sax and Shawn Perkinson’s guitar, with bassist David Schwab and drummer Stephen Humphries, can go head-to-head with the bands you’d hear at NYC’s fabled jazz club.
