The journey started 12 years ago in Fort Collins under the name Manabí Salsa Band acquiring a predominant stamp in Northern Colorado for its high energy performances. In 2022 the remaining band members and founder/leader Aquiles decided to embark on a new ambitious and fresh project striving for versatility, freedom and authenticity with a new name and sound: Aquiles & The Latin Groove.Known for bringing big crowds to venues, breweries, corporate events, private parties and festivals the band’s devotion evolved from entertaining music lovers and dancers into educating and sharing the love for Latin culture bringing colors to the community through the versatile genres in Latin music.The band hold themselves at their own standards performing original compositions and conjuring their own version of classics sung in Spanish, Portuguese and English garnishing them with their Latin twist.You'll enjoy the rhythms of Latin jazz, Bolero, Bachata, Cumbia, Bossa-Nova....
