SINCE NO PROVISION WAS MADE FOR MOVING THE FESTIVAL INDOORS IF INCLEMENT WEATHER MADE USE OF THE EAST LAWN IMPOSSIBLE, FRIDAY'S PERFORMANCES AT LITTLE ROCK'S CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL CENTER WERE CANCELLED.

Free and open to the public, the 2015 Arkansas Jazz Festival is scheduled to take place on two days (Friday, 24 April and Saturday, 25 April) at two sites (the gazebo on Dardanelle's Front Street and the east lawn of Little Rock's Clinton Presidential Center). This fifth annual festival (presented by the Arkansas Jazz Educators Association) features performances (at one-hour intervals) by jazz bands from colleges, high schools, and junior high/middle schools (26 in Arkansas, 2 in Texas). The festival also includes two Saturday concerts (12 p.m. in Dardanelle, 6 p.m. in Little Rock) by internationally renowned saxophonist Lou Marini (blueloumarini.com) with the University of Arkansas at Monticello's award-winning jazz band....
