Bjonko Stosic born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, comes from a family of musicians from the town of Bitola in the Republic of Macedonia. He was mentored by roma Macedonian clarinet legend Chapche Naumovski which balkan sound and playing-phrases is typical for the region of South Macedonia.

For more than two decades, Bjonko has developed and delivered wild and fierce Balkan Beats on clarinet and saxophone to the Scandinavian music scene. Bjonko represents a new style within the Balkan music tradition. He brings Balkan music into dialogue with contemporary music, fired by a driving Macedonian impro style. A new hybrid that draws the audience out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Dansk-makedonske Bjonko bringer balkan-musikken til den skandinaviske musikscene i et format, som trækker publikum op af stolene og ud på dansegulvet. Gennem mere end to årtier har han således udviklet og leveret stærkt dansable og heftige balkan beats på klarinet og saxofon - en hybrid, som kombinerer den traditionelle folkemusik fra Balkan med nutidens mainstreamgenrer som rock, pop og hip hop.

Med sin unikke lyd har Bjonko braget igennem på store danske musikfestivaler som SPOT, Northside og Smukfest, og for sin indlevende optræden er han bl.a. blevet anerkendt med prisen “Årets Danske World Live Navn” ved DMA World i 2015. Bjonko har gennem årene samarbejdet med kunstnere som Fallulah, Klamfyr, Jooks og Illusionisten.

Efter udgivelsen af sit første soloalbum “Running Horses” (2015), og efterfølgeren “Army of Believers” (2017) har Bjonko netop sendt sit tredje album “ Colours in Motion” på gaden. Det er det album der skal fejres, når han i selskab med balkan-beat DJ Uce aka Uros Petkovic gæster ALICE på sin stort anlagte release-tour.
