Drummer, composer, and orchestrator Bryan Carter premiers his new orchestral work celebrating the life and times of Bayard Rustin, an influential activist in the struggle for civil rights, gay rights, and economic justice. A talented recording artist and singer who appeared on Broadway, Rustin is an unsung American hero who was a close collaborator of A. Philip Randolph and Martin Luther King.
