Carl Woideck: Jazz Heritage Highlights at John G Shedd Institute for the Arts

2018-2019 marks the 12th season of the Carl Woideck Jazz Heritage Project at The Shedd. Over the years, the group has presented over 20 programs covering many jazz styles and many facets of jazz’s repertoire. For the close of this season, Carl has decided that the time is right to re-examine some of the highlights of those 12 seasons A few of the artists likely to be performed by this all-star group include: Duke Ellington, Horace Silver, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis, Harold Arlen, Billy Strayhorn, and George Gershwin. For this program, the setlist will be a secret until showtime, so come one, come all, and you’ll be in for a treat!
