Villa Christina celebrates the 8th annual Summer Jazz Series with legendary vocalist Chandra Currely. Currely was the former lead singer of the S.O.S band. Her music is influenced by R&B, Jazz and Gospel with an energetic and engaging vitality. Along with her dynamic band featuring on bass, Anthony "TC" Cunningham (Kelly Price, Toni Braxton), on drums, Marcus Williams (SOS Band, Isaac Hayes) and guitarist, Derek Scott (Gerald Albright), together they create an exciting experience that transcends all genres. Chandra Currelley's recordings include a duet with Roy Ayers entitled "Let Me Love You", plus two CD's recorded with the legendary SOS Band yielding 2 top ten Billboard singles from "Diamonds In The Raw, the top 5 Billboard single "I'm Still Missing Your Love" and from "One Of Many Nights", "Sometimes I Wonder". Chandra's solo CD's are "Love Songs" and "The Real Me".
