Exceptional Jazz songstress & violinist, CHARLOTTE JANE will feature with JMQ Jazz Ensemble on NOV 7, with CRAIG FERMANIS on guitar, at 7pm.
A multi-talented performer, CHARLOTTE JANE has been singing, playing & creating music for as long as she can remember. With a childhood soaked in music and dance, she has never looked back. Upon arriving in Australia she stepped into the world of Jazz, gigging with many of the countries’ finest musicians at leading venues, festivals, concerts and events, leading her own band as well as performing and recording for collaboration projects.
At the Water Rat Hotel, she will journey through a standards repertoire of her choice. The JMQ's other special guest is jazz guitarist CRAIG FERMANIS who has a stellar background, who has shared the stage with a diverse range of artists including Ricki Lee Jones, Mavis Staples, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Tim Ries & Bernard Fowler (The Rolling Stones Band), Vince Jones, Joss Stone, Archie Roach, James Morrison, Paul Grabowsky, Kate Cebrano, Christine Anu, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra... and our JM Jazz Dectet, to name just a few!
