Internationally acclaimed jazz musician, Chris Bakriges and his quartet, will present a benefit concert of music and dance for the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library on Saturday, September 21, 7:00 pm, at American Legion Hall, 32 Linden St, Brattleboro.
The evening gala will feature music from the Great American Songbook, Bossa Nova and West African pieces. The floor will be open for dancing.
The concert will raise funds to support Brooks Memorial Library's public access computing & life-long learning programs.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and go on sale Friday, August 16. They will be available at the Library or brattleborotix.com. Light refreshments & cash bar....
