ABOUT DAN QUIGLEY
Based in Brisbane Dan Quigley is one of Australia’s Top Jazz Trumpeters. Dan started playing the trumpet at the age of 8 and grew up in a musical family environment playing in brass bands, orchestra’s and big bands. During his school years Dan played the Australian National Youth Band and Queensland Youth Wind Ensemble. Since his early 20’s Dan has had a passion in performing, education and advocacy for Jazz.
Dan’s has been a professional musician for over 2 decades. He has performed with some of the world’s best musicians including The Australian Jazz Orchestra, James Morrison, Vincent Gardner, Jerome Jennings, Rodney Whitaker, Mike Nock, Dale Barlow, Judy Bailey, Craig Scott, Steve Brien, Col Loughnan, Jamie Oehlers, Grace Knight, David Campbell, Tim Rogers amongst many more....

Dan is currently the Head of School at Jazz Music Institute which over the last 5 years has become the place to study music in Brisbane.
This performance will feature classic jazz standards and originals with Wil Sargisson on Piano, Nick Quigley on Bass and Gary Eldershaw on Drums.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and are unable to attend after having purchased a ticket, please contact the JMI office (07) 3216 1110 or email [email protected]) as soon as possible during business hours (10AM-4PM) to let us know you won’t be able to attend. A full refund will be given if we are contacted prior to a performance. Refunds will not be processed if we are contacted after the gig.
