Throughout the globe, his peers and colleagues often laud his versatility. Despite his prodigious experience, he remains relentlessly demanding about his work. The Venezuelan-born, South Florida-based Calle is a Latin Grammy award winner and a five-time Latin Grammy nominee. He is a first-call saxophone player and a musician who has played on more than 1,200 albums and 8,500 singles. He holds a doctorate in higher education leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
