For her first residency date, Eliana transports us to Latin America. Inspired all her life by the work of Omara Portuondo, she naturally chose her as the introduction to her sunny universe. A product of the Buenavista Social Club, Omara's repertoire is brimming with eclectic, sparkling tunes that will keep you dancing all night long.   From an early age, Eliana was rocked to the rhythm of Benny Moré's "El bobo de la yuca" by her musician father. At an early age, she learned to imitate Edith Piaf and La Lupe, her two heroines. Joining El Teatro del Laberinto at the age of 8, theater and music became inseparable for her. Since 2017, Eliana has been based in France, where she continues her musical training alongside her studies of Hispano-American literature, which she uses to fuel her compositions.Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, enabling young artists to experiment on stage, honing a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. Eliana Barreto rejoint la résidence #JazzDeDemain !Eliana est bercée très tôt par son père musicien au rythme de “El bobo de la yuca”, de Benny Moré. Très jeune, elle apprend à imiter Edith Piaf et la Lupe, ses deux héroïnes. En intégrant El Teatro del Laberinto à 8 ans, le théâtre et la musique deviennent indissociables pour elle. Depuis 2017, Eliana est installée en France où elle continue sa formation musicale en parallèle de ses études de littérature hispanoamericaine, dont elle se sert pour nourrir ses compositions.Créé en 2012, le créneau #JazzDeDemain a donné naissance à une série de résidences mensuelles et bimestrielles, permettant à des jeunes artistes d’expérimenter la scène, de rôder un répertoire, tout en le présentant au public.
