Patrick B. (The Showman) is the life of the party! With his perpetual motion performance, he really knows how to work a crowd to a mad frenzy. This singer/songwriter, actor, activist and dancer has been influenced by a multitude of styles from gospel to country, neo-soul to southern rock, hip-hop to jazz and blues to beach .A small town boy from a little town called Godwin, NC near Fayetteville, Patrick has lived in many places but calls Maryland home for now.

He formed his style following the great quartets of the gospel and doo-wop era as well as the soulful love men of R&B such as Jeffrey Osborne, Otis Redding, Al Green, and Isaac Hayes. Although classically trained, his gritty vocals are a style that can’t be taught and lend itself well to such current artists as Anthony Hamilton, Gregory Porter and Will Downing. Patrick honed his stage craft while working with such bands as The Chairmen of the Board, Radio Graffiti, A Sign of the Times and his own creation, Mokabrown. Be sure to bring friends anytime you get the chance to check out this jazzy neo-soul, blues, southern-rock, hip-hopster. They’ll thank you for it. Currently he performs with Elements N Tune and several other local bands; but the first Saturday, August 5th, he’ll be doing his first featured show at the Corner Lounge....
