This event will entertain and educate through an exploration of Jazz and Bluegrass highlighting the similarities and influence between the genres. The focus will be on improvisation & group interplay within the framework of the song, technical skill and virtuosity, syncopated rhythms and swing feel. The music will also demonstrate similarities of song form with repertoire from both genres.
