He has performed at festivals such as Congo Square, Bayou Boogaloo, and Jazz Ascona, as well as many esteemed venues like Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, The Joy Theater, and Maritime Park in Baltimore.Alexeys 2017 debut album, Travesia, was met with critical acclaim. He began traveling around the world, composing and recording in Spain, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Cuba, New York, and Miami. The results can be heard on his 2018 follow-up, Mundo, a work that incorporates bossa nova, salsa, samba, and ballads with contemporary and traditional rhythms. He has been nominated for two consecutive years as Best Latin Artist in Gambit Weeklys Big Easy Awards. He has also released several singles, and will be releasing his third album in 2024.
