Lost Stop" is a jazz trio project that integrates free jazz, contemporary chamber music, and elements of the Iranian musical system. Lukas Florian, on double bass, provides the harmonic structure and improvisational flexibility, while Jan Samson Crizanik contributes with drums and tuba, shaping the rhythm section with varied textures and dynamics. Ali Hossein Mahdavi composes the pieces and performs the piano parts, focusing on melodic development and harmonic complexity. The trio navigates between written material and open improvisation, creating a fluid and evolving sound. The project will debut in Graz, followed by performances in Baku, Slovenia, Germany, the Czech Republic, and other locations.
