A 20-time Grammy winner, jazz guitar pioneer Pat Metheny is known worldwide for his phenomenal improvisational performances. With brilliant compositions embracing everything from modern jazz to rock to classical, it’s no surprise that he was recently named a 2018 NEA Jazz Master — or that he was the youngest member and only the fourth guitarist to be inducted into the Downbeat Hall of Fame.
