Every Wednesday and Thursday, Cinq Codet joins forces with Alex Swing Events to offer you varied and quality jazz evenings, in the chic and cozy atmosphere of its Chiquette restaurant.William Brunard is a jazz double bassist from Paris, in the Île-de-France region, recognized for his exceptional talent as a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, cello, double bass). He quickly established himself on the French jazz scene, attracting the attention of figures such as Biréli Lagrène and Angelo Debarre, with whom he performs regularly. In addition to his stage performances, William Brunard gives educational lectures in jazz schools internationally, notably in Stuttgart and Boston, where he works as a consultant in musicology. His expertise and creative approach make him an influential artist in the world of jazz.Aurore Voilqué was almost born with a violin in her hands: at the age of 4, she began her apprenticeship with the Japanese Suzuki method, which trains the ear before teaching the student to read notes and music theory.Since then, Aurore has never stopped playing!After some experiences in classical orchestras, she played for several years in the Paris metro (a formative experience!) to earn a living, before setting up the Aurore Quartet in 2003.She then recorded her first album in self-production and then approached bars, restaurants, festivals and event agencies to earn a living and especially to provide work for the musicians around her.One thing led to another, from one encounter to another, she evolved in the world of gypsy jazz. Very quickly, she joined Thomas Dutronc's team, who regularly asked her to accompany him on his tours in France. She will also be part of the line-up of her album "Live is Love", released by the legendary jazz label "Blue Note" in 2017.In May 2023, Aurore Voilqué goes to New York alongside Stéphane Wrembel at the Django à Gogo festival. Heading to Australia in June, where she sings with the group Paris Combo for a tribute to the singer and creator of the group Belle Du Berry who recently passed away.She will also go on tour in Canada and the northern United States in October 2023 alongside Stéphane Wrembel.In 2024, Aurore releases 2 new albums:"45 - juste une parenthèse" where she sings in French original texts woven from her life.A record in an acoustic trio recorded with Sébastien Giniaux on guitar and Fabricio Nicolas Garcia on double bass."Live au Grès du Jazz" records live with the trio of Serbian guitarist and composer Dejan Krsmanovic. Gypsy jazz with a hint of Balkans. In 2025, she goes on tour throughout France alongside Thomas Dutronc for her new album "Il n'est jamais trop tard"...

Tous les mercredis et jeudis, le Cinq Codet s'associe à Alex Swing Events pour vous proposer des soirées jazz variées et de qualité, dans l'ambiance chic et cosy de son restaurant Chiquette.William Brunard est un contrebassiste de jazz originaire de Paris, en Île-de-France, reconnu pour son talent exceptionnel en tant que multi-instrumentiste (guitare, violoncelle, contrebasse). Il s'est rapidement imposé sur la scène jazz française, attirant l'attention de figures comme Biréli Lagrène et Angelo Debarre, avec lesquels il se produit régulièrement. En plus de ses performances scéniques, William Brunard donne des conférences pédagogiques dans les écoles de jazz à l'international, notamment à Stuttgart et Boston, où il intervient comme consultant en musicologie. Son expertise et son approche créative font de lui un artiste influent dans l'univers du jazz.Aurore Voilqué est presque née un violon entre les mains : à l’âge de 4 ans, elle commence son apprentissage avec la méthode japonaise Suzuki, qui forme l’oreille avant de former l’élève à la lecture des notes et au solfège.Depuis, Aurore n’a jamais cessé de jouer !Après quelques expériences au sein d’orchestres classiques, elle joue plusieurs années dans le métro parisien (expérience formante !) pour gagner sa vie, avant de monter l’Aurore Quartet en 2003.Elle enregistre alors son premier album en auto-production puis démarche bars, restaurants, festivals et agences événementielles pour gagner sa vie et surtout faire travailler les musiciens qui l’entourent.De fil en aiguille, de rencontre en rencontre, elle évolue dans le milieu du jazz manouche. Elle fera d’ailleurs partie du line up de son album « Live is Love », sorti chez le label de jazz mythique « Blue Note » en 2017.En mai 2023, Aurore Voilqué se rend à New-York aux côtés de Stéphane Wrembel au festival Django à Gogo. Direction l’Australie en juin, où elle chante au sein du groupe Paris Combo pour un hommage à la chanteuse et créatrice du groupe Belle Du Berry récemment disparue.Elle part aussi en tournée au Canada et dans le nord des États Unis en octobre 2023 aux côtés de Stéphane Wrembel.En 2024 Aurore sort 2 nouveaux albums :« « 45 – juste une parenthèse » où elle chante en français des textes originaux tissés sur sa vie.Un disque en trio acoustique enregistré avec Sébastien Giniaux à la guitare et Fabricio Nicolas Garcia à la contrebasse.« Live au Grès du Jazz » enregistre en live avec le trio du guitariste et compositeur serbe Dejan Krsmanovic. Jazz manouche matiné de Balkans.En 2025, elle repart en tournée dans toute la France aux côtés de Thomas Dutronc pour son nouvel album « Il n’est jamais trop tard »
