The Brooklyn Music School Jazz Series is back for another series of FREE, live, outdoor, “happy hour” concerts on select Fridays.

World-class musicians and faculty from the nearby powerhouse will set your weekend off right with live sounds featuring jazz standards and original tunes. And if you have musical chops, you’re invited to jam along with them!

Bassist/composer/educator Leon Boykins is an established figure in the next generation of creative musicians, and has developed a reputation for tastefully blending musical tradition with innovation. Leon has shared the stage with many musical greats while also placing a large emphasis on education; his list of awards include various scholarships from the Manhattan School of Music and Temple University, as well as an outstanding soloist award from Down Beat Magazine.
