About
Trumpet player Barabás Lőrinc is considered a catalyst factor of improvisational music in Budapest and he has made a name for himself performing at Montreux Jazz Festival and iTunes Festival (London). He founded Barabás Lőrinc Quartet (Hungary) in 2015. Their sound brings together groovy rhythms, basslines, keyboards and trumpet and combines these elements with 1970's jazz and rock influences.
Smida Jazz Festival is an international event dedicated to avant-garde jazz which takes place in the heart of Apuseni Natural Park, Transylvania, Romania.
