BENITO GONZALEZ
The fusion of world rhythm and straight-ahead jazz make this passionate Venezuelan pianist an audience favorite all over the world. Benito Gonzalez won the 2005 Great American Jazz Piano Competition, and has sat in the piano chair for many fabulous leaders, including Kenny Garrett, Pharoah Sanders, Bobby Hutcherson, Christian McBride, Ignacio Berroa, Roy Hargrove, Rene Mclean, Steve Turre, Hamiet Bluiett, Antonio Sanchez, Nicholas Payton and Jackie Mclean among others.

AARON PARKS
Pianist Aaron Parks is a forward-thinking jazz musician. By age 16 he moved from Seattle to attend the Manhattan School of Music.While there, he studied with pianist Kenny Barron and was named the 2001 Cole Porter Fellow of the American Pianists Association. At age 18 he joined Terence Blanchard's ensemble and recorded four albums with him, including 2003's Bounce, 2005's Flow, the soundtrack to the 2006 Spike Lee film Inside Man, and Blanchard's 2007 Grammy-winning opus A Tale of God's Will (A Requiem for Katrina). Parks has released several albums under his own name, including his 2008 Blue Note debut, Invisible Cinema. His powerful ECM solo piano recording Arborescence was released in the fall of 2013.

CLIFTON ANDERSON | JOCHEM LECOINTRE
Clifton Anderson made his first record date with Carlos Garnett in 1976 and established himself as one of the young "in demand" trombonists in New York. Clifton joined Slide Hampton's "World of Trombones" with Janis Robinson, Steve Turre, Earl Mcintyre, Clifford Adams, Doug Purviance and Papa Vazquez. The early 1980s found Clifton working with a "who's who" of diverse musical giants: from Frank Foster, McCoy Tyner, Clifford Jordan, Stevie Wonder, Dizzy Gillespie, Merv Griffin and The Mighty Sparrow to Lester Bowie, Paul Simon, Muhal Richard Abrams, T. S. Monk and Dionne Warwick among others. In 1983, Clifton joined the band of legendary saxophonist Sonny Rollins and toured worldwide with Rollins for 25 years. Jochem Le Cointre is a scholarship student at the acclaimed New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York, He shined in performance at the New School Summer Camp in Basano Dell Grappa, Italy, and earned a scholarship to study in New York. Today, Jochem LeCointre is already breaking barriers playing music that mixes Monteverdi with bebop and Debussy with avant-garde.

Based in New York City, Grammy nominated artist, pianist and composer Manuel Valera was born in Havana, Cuba. Since arriving in NYC, he has received national acclaim not only for his work, but also as a pianist and composer with such notable artists as Arturo Sandoval, Paquito D'Rivera, Brian Lynch, Dafnis Prieto, Yosvany Terry and others. studied in NYC with legendary acoustic bassist Ron Carter and electric bass guitarist Anthony Jackson. A Grammy® award-winning musician, Benitez has performed or recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Tito Puente, Lalo Rodriguez, Hilton Ruiz, Dave Samuels, Chucho Valdez, Bobby Watson David Sanchez, Eddie Palmieri and Roy Hargrove's Grammy® award-winning Crisol Band. Mauricio Herrera was born in Holguin, Cuba and has played with Son de Madre, Yosvany Terry's Afro-Cuban Roots, Osmany Paredes Quartet, Oriente Lopez Group, Grupo Ibboru, Bryan Lynch, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Obbini Tumbao, Michelle Rosewoman and Candido Camero.

JASON W MARSHALL & WILLERM DELISFORT
Jason W. Marshall's 2003 arrival in New York City signified the continuation of hard swinging, forward thinking baritone saxophone playing. With early encouragement to appreciate all musical genres, Jason exhibits a style that encompasses whole of African-American music, and mixes soul music with straight-ahead jazz. Dedication and perseverance have resulted in a giant, soulful sound that has revitalized the baritone saxophone and bass clarinet in contemporary jazz music. Willerm Delisfort's career extends the continuum of musical styles that ranges from jazz, gospel and R&B. Willerm's versatility has him very busy among prominent jazz, rap, soul, and fusion artists, including 2009 Best World Guitarist Fareed Haque, Grammy Award winning artist T-Pain, Kirk Whalum, Louis Bellson, Lew Soloff, Calvin Newborn, Corey Wilkes, Curtis Fuller, and Jimmy Heath.

CLARICE ASSAD & KEITA OGAWA
A native of Rio de Janeiro, Clarice Assad was born into one of Brazil's most famous musical families (she is the daughter of Sergio Assad, one of today's preeminent guitarists and composers), and has performed professionally since she was seven. Her music has been performed and recorded by orchestras, soloists, and chamber musicians such as violinists Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and Iwao Furusawa, violoncellist Yo-Yo Ma, the guitarists Assad Brothers, the LA Guitar Quartet, the Turtle Island String Quartet, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony and the New Century Chamber Orchestra. Since his arrival in America, Keita Ogawa has performed with some of the biggest names in modern music including Yo-Yo-Ma, Assad Brothers, Maria Schneider Orchestra, Snarky Puppy, Clarice Assad, Romero Lubambo, Chris Potter, Osvaldo Golijov, Gustavo Dudamel, Danilo Perez, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and others. Keita can virtually play any percussion instrument and musical style with fluency and unparalleled musicality.

Through his adolescence, James Weidman listened to his dad's record collection, and from a steady diet heavy on bebop and post-bop sides from the 1940s through the 1960s, he became well-versed in the spirit and the craft of playing jazz. "I became engrossed in learning about all the great pianists and horn men even though I was playing organ. Bud Powell, Bird, and Miles were greater than Spider-Man & Fantastic Four to me." Harvie S has performed with masters in jazz and Latin music including Stan Getz, Pat Metheny, Chet Baker, Dexter Gordon, Gil Evans, Arturo O'Farrill, Lee Konitz, James Moody, Al Cohn and Zoot Sims, Art Farmer, Danilo Perez, Paquito D'Rivera and countless others. He can be heard on over 400 CDs as a sideman and 16 as a leader and another 15 as a co-leader with musicians such as James Brown, Chick Corea, John Scofield, Michael Brecker, Kenny Barron, Pat Martino, Grover Washington, Jr and others.

Soon after moving to New York, Luis quickly established himself as an in-demand pianist with a diverse list of top-quality musicians, including: Ravi Coltrane, John Patitucci, Ray Barretto, Brian Lynch, Miguel Zenon, Dave Douglas, Butch Morris, Ben Wolfe, Fort Apache Band, David Sanchez and Ignacio Berroa. As a longstanding member of groups led by Miguel Zenon and Ravi Coltrane, Luis has made his mark at the piano as a major league performer, composer and arranger.

Pianist James Francies, 17, is a graduate of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. Pianist Taylor Eigsti said that James "is poised to become a major voice on the instrument. He has the passion, creativity and ability to be a real leader amonst his generation. James has already played alongside many eminent musicians, including Houston Person, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Arturo Sandoval, Antonio Hart, Julian Lage, Joel Frahm and others.

DAVE BURRELL
Dave Burrell has long been a favorite pianist for his remarkable ability to play across stylistic boundaries in jazz. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1965 with a degree in composition, arranging and performance, Burrell dedicated himself to the pursuit of creative music that combines his dual talents as composer and free jazz improviser, performing alongside artists such as Marion Brown, Archie Shepp, Pharoah Sanders and David Murray. Few pianists have so successfully and consistently performed improvised music containing influences ranging from Jelly Roll Morton, Thelonious Monk and Duke Ellington to classical composers such as Puccini-see Burrell's LP, La Vie de Boheme (BYG/Get Back Records, 1969) and a Leonard Bernstein trio LP, High Won-High Two (Douglas/Black Lion, 1968) with Sirone and Sunny Murray.
