Guitarist Carl Michel and saxophone/flutist Alex Coke present an evening of their own and other's compositions in sextet with ASO's principal harpist, Elaine Barber, vibraphonist Carolyn Trowbridge, pedalsteel player Bob Hoffnar (Liminal Sound Series), and double bassist James Suter featuring tunes from their new recording,
The Emissary.
Performing music that has origins in jazz, classical, folk, and improvised music
this unique ensemble is an outgrowth of Coke and Barber's weekly Driveway Concert Series, which ran weekly from April 2020 -June 2021.
An evening not to be missed for hungry ears, this concert will take place at the new home of KMFA in the Draylen Mason Studio.
