Jazz is rooted in and led by the Black American experience. Charles River Jazz Festival celebrates and serves the cultural, artistic diversity that the Boston community has to offer. As the festival continues to grow, as does the team of individuals dedicated to connecting the Greater Boston community with the storied art form of Jazz. The Charles River Jazz Festival has established a Board of Directors, and is thrilled to launch the Boston Jazz Foundation (BJF), a non-profit aiming to serve the marginalized artists of Boston and beyond who've been keeping Jazz authentic and accessible.
