The Charu Suri trio has been praised for its sensitivity and original music. Suri's first album, Lollipops for Breakfast, has been called "an exceptionally fine debut." Suri and her band will make their Carnegie Hall debut in December with two new albums, "The Book of Ragas" and "The New American Songbook."
The trio performs at The Lexington in New York City where they have a Residency. 5-8 p.m. Free. With Jay O'Brien, drums and Justin Lee, bass.
