Chocho Cannelle, c’est un jazz moderne et libre, qui réussit le mariage des instruments électriques et acoustiques, de l’improvisation et de l’écriture, des fondamentaux du jazz et des inspirations du monde. Ouvert aux sonorités latines, à l’électro ou au trip-hop, le quatuor oscille entre légèreté et sophistication et revendique des filiations éclectiques. Une liberté que l’on retrouve dans la composition même du groupe, qui sacrifie la basse au profit de la harpe, dont les timbres originaux donnent à l’ensemble une subtile résonance atmosphérique. Lauréat du Concours national de jazz de la Défense en juin 2022, Chocho Cannelle invite un jazz à la fois accessible, aérien et lumineux sur la scène des Gémeaux.
