To celebrate UNESCO World Jazz Day, jazz critic
and educationalist Chris Searle presents ‘The
Blindfold Test’, playing a range of music from the
history of jazz for you to guess and discusses the
music in the social context of the time. Chris is the author of several books on jazz including the recent Red Groove, a collection of essays from his regular Morning Star column from the past couple of decades. A great evening’s entertainment for jazz aficionados and beginners alike.
