Christian Tambuur Quintet at Gleason Center For The Performing Arts

The critically acclaimed Christian Tambuur Quartet will be performing in the Gleason Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. This event marks Christian’s two days as Artist in Residency with the Florida Tech Music Department under the direction of Dr. Jamie Annette Younkin.

Christian has performed with Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, James Moody, Bunky Green, Kenny Barron, Benny Green, Milt Hinton, Bucky Pizarelli, Tal Falow, Nicholas Payton, Billy Drummond, Matt Wilson, Eric Marienthal, Marcus Printup, Mark Murphy, Clint Holmes and Rene Marie.

Over the past 8 years, Christian and his group have performed at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Ravinia, The Brubeck Institute, Yoshi’s Jazz Club, The North Sea Jazz Festival and many others venues....
