Just a few days before Christmas, VLA welcomes the light: pianist, singer and composer Clélya Abraham, accompanied by her quartet, Antonin Fresson on electric guitar, Samuel F'hima on double bass and Tilo Bertholo on drums, offers us an evening of mixed jazz. A quelques jours de Noël, VLA accueille la lumière : la pianiste, choriste et compositrice Clélya Abraham, accompagnée de son quartet, Antonin Fresson à la guitare électrique, Samuel F’hima à la contrebasse et Tilo Bertholo à la batterie, nous offre une soirée de jazz métissé. C’est en totale connivence avec ses musiciens qu’elle vient nous interpréter son dernier album, La Source. Au piano, Clélya Abraham joue des compositions originales, traversées par diverses influences, au carrefour du jazz moderne, du classique et des musiques afro-caribéennes. Sa musique, à la fois inventive et rigoureuse, virtuose et sincère, est d’une vraie richesse harmonique et mélodique, portée par la force rythmique de ses compositions.
