Composers Concordance meets Bruka Band - An evening of New Music, Media, and Art at Gallery MC

Composers Concordance and Bruka Band will join forces for an evening to explore a variety of angles to the art of performing today. The music traditions include classical, world, jazz, and hip-hop, the cultures of the Balkans, South and North America, interweaving art forms of music, literature, dance, visual projections and photography.

Composers Concordance and Bruka Band are two energetic, daring and diverse collectives of new music composers, performers and new art advocates. CBCB performs one night only, May 10, 2011. CBCB starts at 8 pm. Running time for the concert is approximately 90 minutes. Composers Concordance and Bruka Band each perform for approximately 45 minutes. A casual reception follows including a birthday toast to the Milica Paranosic of Bruka Band.
