Conqueroos at Blues At The Beach Festival at 17th St Stage

Longtime friends ANTHONY ROSANO (guitar and vocals) and PAUL WARREN (bass) started the CONQUEROOS as an outlet for the “blues muse” that is the undercurrent to all that is musical. The two have played together numerous times at jams and as fill-in musicians for other projects. After meeting JACK CAMPBELL (harp) and DION DAVIS (drums) “the Conqueroos” were born. The Conqueroos draw on varied musical influences and a common love for the Blues. Blues all funked up, that’s the recipe. Influenced by The Meters, Mofro, and Col. Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos won NBN’s local International Blues Challenge (IBC) in July of 2012, and went on to represent Hampton Roads at the IBC competition in Memphis, TN in January 2013.
