THREE ON 3 Presents The Music of Sun Ra – A Centennial Celebration. Trombonist Craig Harris, a member of the Sun Ra Arkestra in the mid-70s, will bring a group of musicians together and perform Sun Ra compositions newly arranged for the 12-piece big band Harlem Night Songs, with an instrumentation similar to Sun Ra's 1950s Chicago bands. Celebrating the 100th birthday of Sun Ra, one of the prolific composers and musicians of our time, this homage to a great mind of the 20th century is not to be missed!
