Featuring the return of the 17-piece Big Band, Dan Gabel and The Abletones, with vocalist Amanda Carr and special guest Nancy Carr, the music of the 1930s, 40s and 50s will come alive with new vitality and energy. This event will also be a special tribute to famed local big band leader Bob Bachelder (the long-time band at the historical Totem Pole Ballroom in Newton, MA).

Proceeds will fund the Society's efforts to bring Big Band music back into our schools through master classes, clinics, seminars and live performance....
