Distinctive Scots pianist Dave Newton fronts his own trio. He’ll doubtless be exploring some movie themes, as featured on his recent Linn Records CD by his Big Screen Trio, as well as standards and jazz specialities. He’s joined by bassist Tom Farmer and the returning Matt Skelton on drums. Dave has been voted Best Pianist in the British Jazz Awards no less than thirteen times. Come and see why!
