Clarinetist Don Byron's CD "Do The Boomerang" is all about the music of Motown legend Junior Walker. On August 6th, he's doing it live with an all-star band fronted by "Screaming Headless Torsos" vocalist Dean Bowman, along with "David Bowie" drummer Zach Alford, "Fugs" bassist Scott Petito, "Roswell Rudd" guitarist Matt Finck and "Gil Evans" keboardist Pete Levin on organ.
