Earsight

In 2011, jazz guitarist Adam Knight set out to form a high-energy, organ-based funk/jazz project. With the help of some of the Upstate’s finest jazz musicians and a collective vision, Earsight was formed. Combining funk, straight-ahead jazz, soul, and New Orleans flavor, Earsight produces intoxicating, danceable grooves, reminiscent of bands like Soulive, Galactic, and Medeski, Martin and Wood. Earsight is Adam Knight (guitar), Will Sinclair (Hammond Organ), Tim Blackwell (drums), and Tom Wright (alto saxophone). Members of Earsight have been involved in various successful projects over the years, performing at the Bonnaroo festival and opening for influential artists like Maceo Parker, Robert Randolph, and Wynton Marsalis.
