Take in a two-day, jazzed-infused festival in the heart of downtown East Lansing. This extraordinary FREE event features a high-caliber bevy of local and national jazz performers in the heart of downtown East Lansing (Lot 1). The festival is produced by the City of East Lansing, Wharton Center for Performing Arts and the MSU College of Music.
The East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Orchestra salutes jazz, America's greatest art form, and celebrates Michigan jazz musicians. The 20-piece orchestra performs the best of the big band repertoire as well as original compositions.
