Momenta performs the aggressive, intensely dissonant, and excitingly unpredictable String Quartet (2006) on a double-bill of music by composer and avant-garde improviser Gordon Beeferman. Opening the concert is Four Parts Five (2012), a half-hour quintet tour de force that takes virtuosic rhythmic ensemble playing to the next level, performed by Beeferman and a band of some of NYCโs most talented and creative musicians.
