Freedom Quartet - éric Polchi at Jazz Up En Scène

Saxophonist and flautist Eric Polchi returns to the bill with a quartet that revisits the libertarian forms of '70s jazz, heavily infused with blues, soul, funk and Latin jazz. The repertoire features the best of Charlie Mingus, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Charles Lloyd, Keith Jarrett and Roy Hargrove, among others, and is representative of  "20th-century American classical music".Eric Polchi's tenor sax will be accompanied by regular sidemen on the Riviera’s stages: Fred d'Oelsnitz on piano, Jean-Marc Jafet on bass and Laurent Sarrien on drums.
