Every Wednesday and Thursday, Cinq Codet partners with Alex Swing Events to offer you varied and quality jazz evenings, in the chic and cozy atmosphere of its Chiquette restaurant.Gaël Rouilhac is a French guitarist. An eclectic musician, his favorite field is to be a jazz guitarist, but he also happens to occupy the place of singer. He is also a composer, mainly for his own group, also for occasional commissions (TV films, etc.).Influenced by many musical styles, jazz from all eras, funk, classical, rock, traditional music, or even more experimental music, he began his career in 2001 in gypsy jazz armed with a Selmer Maccaferri type guitar.In 2008 he met Jérôme Deschamps and performed with the company 'Les Deschiens' as a musician-actor for 3 years.Between 2012 and 2013 he played and lived in New York for 6 months, leading him to give a hundred concerts in clubs as a leader. The meetings and new collaborations favored a work of composition.In 2015 he created his own trio in France, with the violinist Caroline Bugala and the Italian accordionist Roberto Gervasi.At the same time he played and recorded with different projects as a sideman, singer, or arranger: Cordeone, Swingarden, Caroline Bugala 4tet...Here he presents a project in a gypsy jazz trio as a leader......

Tous les mercredis et jeudis, le Cinq Codet s'associe à Alex Swing Events pour vous proposer des soirées jazz variées et de qualité, dans l'ambiance chic et cosy de son restaurant Chiquette.Gaël Rouilhac est un guitariste français. Musicien éclectique, son domaine de prédilection est d'être guitariste de jazz, mais il lui arrive aussi d'occuper la place de chanteur. Il est également compositeur, principalement pour son propre groupe, également pour des commandes occasionnelles (téléfilms..). Influencé par de nombreux styles musicaux, jazz de toutes les époques, funk, classique, rock, musiques traditionnelles, ou encore musiques plus expérimentales, il débute sa carrière en 2001 dans le jazz manouche armé d'une guitare de type Selmer Maccaferri.En 2008 il rencontre Jérôme Deschamps et se produit avec la compagnie 'Les Deschiens" en tant que musicien comédien pendant 3 ans.Entre 2012 et 2013 il joue et vit à New York pendant 6 mois, l'amenant à donner une centaine de concerts dans les clubs en tant que leader. Les rencontres et les nouvelles collaborations favorisent un travail de composition.En 2015 il crée en France son propre trio, avec la violoniste Caroline Bugala et l'accordéoniste italien Roberto Gervasi.En parallèle il joue et enregistre avec différent projets en tant que sideman, chanteur, ou arrangeur: Cordeone, Swingarden, Caroline Bugala 4tet...Il nous présente ici un projet en trio de jazz manouche en tant que leader...
